Lake Fort Smith State Park is your gateway to adventure in the natural diversity of the Boston Mountains. The park overlooks Lake Fort Smith in this rugged range of the northwest Arkansas Ozarks. Cabin, camping, and group lodge stays; plus clear water fishing; paddling; hiking; and mountain biking make this an outdoor recreation destination. For backpackers, it is the western terminus of the 240-mile Ozark Highlands Trail. Besides recreation, this lake is a water reservoir for the region.
